Squiggle birds are a fun way to get creative.

1. Draw a squiggle. Don’t think, draw.
   
2. Add a beak, wings, tail, & feet.
   
3. Add highlights and shadows, optionally.
   

Do a bunch of these as a warm up to something larger.
